This is where our founder-led, hands-on approach comes to life - where high-quality spirits meet fresh, thoughtful ingredients to create cocktails made for Queensland’s people, places, and lifestyle. Every batch is crafted with intention, designed to be shared wherever great moments happen.
Crafted With Care, Connected to Family
Our distillery is powered by two stills that are far more than equipment, they’re family. ‘Norma,’ our small-batch still, and ‘Sian,’ our larger production still, are named after loved ones who shaped who we are. Every run, every batch, and every bottle carries a piece of that legacy. This connection to family is woven through everything we make, influencing our craft, our care, and our commitment to doing things the right way.
Handmade From Start to Finish
Nothing at TAILGATE is mass-produced. We blend our spirits with the best ingredients, sourced locally where possible and from trusted producers afar, to craft a range of batched cocktails that celebrate Queensland’s diverse tastes and landscapes. Every bottle is filled, sealed, labelled, and packed by hand, right in our Northgate distillery. It’s slow craftsmanship in a fast world, and it’s the way we believe great drinks should be made.
